The research component studies the educational impact of these experiences, with a particular focus on student engagement and belonging. Research examines how experiential and project-based learning, industry involvement, competitions, community-engaged projects, and other innovative teaching practices influence students’ engagement, self-efficacy, professional identity, learning, and persistence in construction and engineering education.
